Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Architect, design, and develop high-quality, scalable, and resilient software systems that align with our business objectives and technical strategy.
  • Serve as a technical leader and mentor to other engineers, sharing knowledge, guiding project development, and promoting engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and operations, to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Lead the evaluation and adoption of new technologies, tools, and frameworks to drive continuous improvement in our software development processes.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high standards of code quality and maintainability.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions, contributing technical insights and recommendations to guide company technology decisions.
  • Advocate for and implement improvements in our software engineering lifecycle, including automation, CI/CD, testing, and security practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the reliability and performance of our software systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant field.
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
  • 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, and/or cross-business projects.
  • Experience architecting and developing distributed systems design.
  • Proficiency with front-end languages, libraries, e.g., JavaScript, React, Flutter, Next.js
  • Proficiency with back-end language, libraries, e.g., Golang, Node.js
  • Excellent knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, e.g., PostgreSQL
  • Proficient in Thai language for effective communication and collaboration.
